2021 FlatRock Triple Crown Series
The FlatRock Triple Crown will once again be held for those runners looking for some real punishment on this legendary course! For those willing and able to finish all three races (WinterRock 25K, Flatrock 50K and the Flatrock 101K) you will receive a special award at the end of your 176K journey that will definitely be worth all of the punishment.

Both races start at the Outlet Channel Shelter.

Race cutoff is 4pm.
Elk River Hiking Trail. Accurately measured forest trail winding through unique limestone bluffs, rock formations & picturesque vistas. Mostly single-track, out & back, very rocky, no long hills. Home of the FlatRock 50/25K
3 Aid Stations in the 25K and 1 (turnaround) in the 12K. Aid stations are approximately 3.5-4 miles apart, are all unmanned, with only water available. No cups will be available, so you MUST carry a handheld bottle with you on the course. If you need fuel (calories) of any type, YOU are responsible to pack it with you, as there will be none available on the course.
Race headquarters will be located in the Outlet Channel Group Shelter (north side of the Elk City Lake dam). There are several different ways to get to the Outlet Channel Shelterhouse (Staging Area) depending upon which direction you are coming from. PLEASE NOTE: If there is any kind of substantial freezing/frozen moisture on the trail, we will postpone this event until we can run it WITHOUT the aforementioned additional risk involved. Status updates of the trail condition will be communicated through email and Facebook.

Each runner is responsible or their own actions. It is crucial that you are physically and mentally prepared for the stresses of the race. We will utilize the local EMS services in case of a medical emergency. It is important for the runner to recognize the potential physical and mental stresses that may evolve from participation in this race. Each participant must continuously monitor his/herself and understand their limitations. Remember that you are responsible for your own well-being during this race.

Race Rules For Runners
1 Absolutely no littering!
2. You may not stash supplies along the course.
3. Any runner dropping out shall immediately notify the nearest aid station or race management at the start/finish area.
4. Runners accepting a ride for any reason are deemed out of the race and may not re-enter.
5. All runners will abide by the directions of race management.
6. Violations of any rule will be grounds for disqualification. Race Management reserves the right to bar any runner from competing in this and any future Outlaw races.
7. In the case of a tie, runners will be placed alphabetically.
8. All animals must be leashed at all times.
9. Decisions of Race Management are final.
