The Story of the Suitcase

One day sweet Bonny Jo went for a run and found a suitcase on the side of the road. "What's in the suitcase?" she asked herself. Bonny Jo didn't know what to do so she messaged 18,000 of her closest running girlfriends to ask what she should do. At that moment the women's running world came to a screeching halt in anticipation of WHAT was in the suitcase and WHEN would Bonny Jo open it. After 24 hours and millions of messages, likes, loves, and everything in between, the mystery was revealed and thousands of women from all of the world bonded over a lifetime experience they will never forget.......involving a suitcase! A shout out and thank you to Bonny Jo, who never knew an innocent message would make her the most talked about runner in 2020!

About the event

Race to the Case was created to celebrate the common passion we all have! You can choose one of four distances to run and you have between Aug. 1-15 to complete it! 100% of the proceeds will go to support Girls on the Run International. The race is being organized by Trails to Hope, whose mission is "to build awareness to the needs in our communities and raise money for charities who give Hope to those in need." Trails to Hope is a 501c3 organization.
