The West Rock Winter Extravaganza
Here we go again!
So yeah, same format as last time- 1.6 mile loops around Lake Wintergreen for eight hours. There will be one aid station PLUS pizza, finisher's award and tons of junk food. You have the option to support yourself, and we’ll provide Skratch, soup, grilled cheese (or quesadillas), Coke and Sprite as well as candy, chips, pretzels and fruit and yes, there will be a porta-potty.
You will tally your loops on the Big Board and you will have a shit ton of fun (results may vary, but sign up if you love to suffer just in case). Please be advised that there's a paltry 65 feet of gain on the loop, so trekking poles are obviously a must.
A portion of the race’s proceeds will go to support a charity, so in a way it's a big fun raiser, I mean big fundraiser. Just raising the fun y'all. But most importantly giving back to the community.
