50K & 100K description
Great course, great volunteers, great swag, and great post-race food and drinks!
Join us for the 40th edition of the Quicksilver Endurance Runs and the eleventh edition of the 100k. The 50K and 100K races are run on scenic, hilly single track trails and fire roads. You will run through peaceful oak forests, wide-open meadows, and along ridges with spectacular views of the Santa Clara Valley and the Santa Cruz Mountains. Although the course is very challenging, the friendly aid stations and beautiful scenery make Quicksilver an excellent choice for a first trail ultra-marathon. Run for a good cause: 50% of the race proceeds go to non-profits that help kids stay healthy or fund trail advocacy projects.
Both Races will start at the Hacienda Entrance of the Almaden Quicksilver County Park (21785 Almaden Road, San Jose, CA 95120).
*** New for 2025 *** Hiking poles will no longer be allowed on the Sierra Azul portion of the 100k. That means no poles, at any time, in either race. This change is to align our rules with those of the Western States 100.
