Formerly known as PQ & GZ Trail Marathon. I changed it in memory of my beloved friend Dingneng Wang, who inspired us so much and loved running this course. May he rest in peace! Dingneng had many hiking friends and he created a biking group. Let’s getting together to remember him in our own ways! We miss you, Dingneng!
I don't like rules more than you do, but I heard some grunts about this run becoming more a road marathon than it's trail origin. So here we go.
1). No pacer. Sign up if you want to run with your friend.
2). No support outside of three water stops and start/finish line.
3). Have at least 8 oz (236.6 ml) of fluid with you when you leave a water stop.
4). Runner of 60 years or older have the option to start a half hour earlier (5AM).
This is a fat ass or self support run You're supposed to carry/plan everything you need for your run. The water stops as name implied only promise water. No refund, no transfer, no wait list, no course marking, no t-shirt, no medal, no certificate, nothing, just come and run. This year will be running counter-clockwise and cutoff time is 6hrs for marathon.
