Race Description
New to the ultra scene? Perhaps you’re a seasoned veteran looking for a distance PB. This timed race will be run on The Couchville Lake Loop Trail, a 2-mile paved loop that runs the perimeter of Couchville Lake, in the beautiful Long Hunter State Park, Nashville, TN. With no elevation to speak of, it is the perfect chance to see how far you can go in 8 hours.
This is a DNF free event. All you have to do is start. We are looking into special awards for the top men and women, but the primary focus of this event is to raise funds for the park, so don’t be surprised if we bust out the arts and crafts supplies!
Speaking of, the Uriah Stone Endurance Classic is the inaugural race of Running Raccoon Racing, a 501(c)(3) whose purpose is to raise funds for parks, natural areas, and green spaces via ultra and adventure races. So come on out, get your race on, and support a great cause.
Aid Stations
Because this is a small loop there will be one big aid station situated at the start/finish line. This means every two miles you will have access to your crew as well as all the standard aid station amenities. There are bathrooms there as well.
Please note that this is a cup-less event. Bring your hydration vessel of choice.
Packet Pick-up
Friday, April 8th from 4pm to 8pm at the Park Office.
Saturday, April 9th from 6-7am (either at part office or at starting line. TBD)
Required Gear

No pacers will be allowed.
It’s a 2 mile loop…you can make it.
