United We Move

1250 Wilson Road

Fall River, MA 20 Mile RIDE, 10 Mile Run, 10 Mile Ride, 5 Mile Run, 2 Mile WALK

This Event Took Place Sat. Oct 23, 2021

The Why

United We Move supports United Way of Greater Fall River as the kick off to our annual campaign.

Get out into the gorgeous Fall River Bioreserve to kick off the 2023-2024 Annual Campaign. Walk the Tattapanum Trail (about 1.1 miles), run a 5ish mile loop through the trails, or ride 10ish mile loop through the gravel roads of the Bioreserve. Runners or riders can choose to do one loop of the course or two.

Your support of the United We Move event supports health, education, and financial stability/basic needs programs throughout Greater Fall River. Coming together to walk, run, and ride supports the work UWGFR and our agency partners do year round.

This year, we’ll be providing a family-friendly festival at the conclusion of the races with food, beverages, and music!

Day of registration will be available. Cash, check and Venmo only will be accepted at day-of registration. No swag or packets will be mailed.
No refunds will be given. The event will run rain or shine.

Dogs are allowed but MUST be on leashes for the ENTIRE event.

The Walk Course

The Tattapanum trail is a lovely lollypop shaped route that's super-walkable and family friendly. Roots and rocks are prevalent, though there is little incline or decline on the loop.

The loop itself is about a mile long so the distance presented includes the walk to and from our staging area.

Walkers MUST stay to the side of the road as runners and cyclists are using the same road at the same time.

The Run/Hike Course

Join us for one or two loops of this 5ish mile course through the rough roads and trails in the Fall River Bioreserve. You'll find a mix of rough paved roads, dirt and sand roads, grassy trails, and some rocky sections on the loop. There's very little elevation on this course, making it FAST for those looking to race.

Hikers or those who will run/walk will begin with the two loop runners.

The Ride Course

We're offering this 10ish mile loop for you to do once or twice. Due to the rough (sometimes muddy!) roads and trails, this route MUST be done on a gravel bike or mountain bike. That said- the route is supremely rideable even for novice riders looking to try out their first gravel ride! If you're an experienced rider, this is a fun course to race through wide fire roads, grassy trails, and a little bit of single track.
