The Goose Creek Police Department is hosting its 6th Annual 5k fun run/walk themed “Hot Pursuit.”
Prizes will also be awarded to the top three male and female finishers in each age group and the first 500 runners to finish the event will get a finishers medal!

Awards given to the top three male and female finishers for the following age groups: 19 or younger, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+.
The 5K will begin on June 8th at 8:30 am and will start at the Goose Creek Municipal Center. The race will use paved hiker/biker trails and paved roadways before returning to the municipal center.
There is a half mile KIDS RUN that follows the path around the lake. This is a free event for children. This race starts at 7:30. Parents and/or guardians of children participating in the free kids run assume all liability associated with the event.
Proceeds will go toward a Goose Creek Police Department sponsored event, “Shop with a Badge” and other Holiday events. The “Shop with a Badge” program allows police officers to go Christmas shopping with lowcountry children in need.
Early packet pickup will be in the Goose Creek Police Department lobby, 519 N. Goose Creek Blvd., Goose Creek, SC 29445 on June 7th between the hours of 9:00 am and 7:00 pm. Packet pickup and race day registration is available from 6:00 am until 7:30 am morning of the race (June 8th) at the same location.
Registration fee for signing up on Friday is $40. Race Day Entry Fee: $40 for runners and walkers.
