This a family friendly small community race on suburban and rural paved roads. Both distances are out and back, flat and fast. Whether you are looking to set a new personal best or just want to join the comradery of fellow runners this is a great event for you.
Friday August 6th, 12-3pm at Fleet Feet Modesto
Saturday August 7th, 6:15-race time at El Portal Parking Lot
*Remember- Shirt sizes are First Come First Pick. All runners under 18 must have a parent/guardian sign the liability waiver in order to receive their bib and shirt.
The cost of either event is $20. Online registration will charge a small fee for use of credit card (the full $20 will be delivered to Escalon Lion's Club and support this event and other needs in the community).
You may register in person and pay cash ($20). You must have exact cash.
1. Can I get a refund?

No, there will be no refunds. Any profits go to support the Escalon Lions Club and will be reinvested into the community through service projects, donations, and scholarships.
2. Is there a t-shirt?
Yes, there is a race t-shirt. T-shirt's can be picked up during race bib pickup and sizes are available on a first come first served basis.
3.Are there awards?
Yes, the first 300 participants will receive a finisher's medal.
Gift certificates to Fleet Feet will be awarded in the following way:
10k male & female: 1st=$50, 2nd=$15, 3rd=$15,
2mile male & female: 1st= $25, 2nd= $15, 3rd= $15.
10K Kid (14 or younger, male and female combined) :1st= $25, 2nd= $15, 3rd= $15
2mile Kid (14 or younger, male and female combined) : 1st= $20, 2nd= $15, 3rd= $15
4. Are races chipped timed?
This year races will not be chip timed. Runners will be able to see there time as they finish, once results are official prize awards will be delivered.
5. Are headphones allowed?
Note that the roads are not completely closed to traffic. You are strongly encouraged to keep any music low enough to hear vehicles/traffic control officers.
6. Can I run with my dog?
Leashed pets are allowed near the start/finish area and along the course sidelines. Dogs are not allowed on the course while the event is taking place (except for service animals).
