The Elephants Perch present “Legends Never Die”
Half Marathon and Ultra Marathon (55 km) trail run staged at Oregon Gulch on Sept 23 2023.
Located five miles north of Sun Valley, in Ketchum Idaho. The single track will be exploding with color from fall foliage and the majestic mountain views are sure to take your breath away. Aid stations will be fully stocked from Atkinsons Market. If you like a challenge, and running through your own private Idaho with unforgettable views of the high surrounding mountains then come and join us on Sept 23 2023

Our goal is to raise money for Higher Ground, 10% of proceeds will be donated to this worthy cause. Runners will receive an event T-Shirt. Winners will receive Vimazi Shoes and spot prices are up for grabs from our amazing partners lululemon.
If you have never run a 50km please reach out, we have scholarships available to help with registration fees.
Bib Pickup Party Sept 22nd 4-6pm @ Elephants Perch Ketchum, try some non-alcoholic beer from Sawtooth Brewery and demo the new trail shoes from Vimazi. Hawaiian Fruit from Atkinsons Market will be available, We are also having a raffle from Limelight Hotel for Johnny Forsyth.
The Half Marathon course follows the beautiful 13.1-mile single track loop trail from Oregon Gulch. With a race high point of 7,600 and 2,172 ft vertical gain Due to popular demand, there will three waves starting at 9:30am 10:00 am and 10:30am.
The Ultra Marathon 55 Km is sure to take your breath away. The course starts at Oregon Gulch and has a race highpoint of 8,650 feet, with 7,000 elevation gain. Due to popular demand, this year there will be two waves starting at 8:30am 9:00 am
Encompassing changing terrain from forest to an exposed alpine environment. Aggressive hill climbs and a challenging downhill. Remember no one said it was going to be easy!
Hiking poles are recommended.
