Race Rules

Runners are required to run 6.71 kilometers within one [1] hour. If a runner does not complete the loop within the timeframe allotted, the runner will not be allowed to continue and is a DNF.
Each loop starts precisely 1 hour after the last. Warning whistles will be given 3, 2, and 1 minutes prior to start of each loop. All competitors must start at the bell (no late starts).
Runners are required to be in the starting corral before the start of the next loop. If a runner fails to make their way into the starting corral before the bell has sounded to start the next loop, the runner will not be allowed to continue and is a DNF.
Runners are NOT allowed to receive ANY aid while they are on course. This starts the moment the bell sounds. Should the Race Director determine that a runner has received aid, the runner will be disqualified from the race.
Runners are not allowed to exit the course except to use the porta potty until they complete the loop.

The last runner must complete one additional loop, a victory loop if you will, to be named the winner. All other runners DNF [Did Not Finish]. The winner will be given the opportunity to join 14 other runners on the Canadian National Team and compete in the World Championships, Satellite Edition in October 2022.

No headphones -- this is not a closed course and the safety of every runner is our number one priority so headphones will NOT be allowed on course.

Crew - please keep it to two crew members at a time for each runner.

It's important that you share with your crew the importance of not receiving any aid -- water, food, etc. Their willingness to assist you on course may cost you your race.
