WHEN:  Sunday November 6th, 2022 at 8 AM – Both the Half Marathon and Rav to Rav begin at 8 AM .There is an option for a one time early start for Half Marathoners at 7 AM for those that would like extra time. (Early starters are exempt to overall awards)

​WHERE: Rattlesnake Mountain Preserve Trailhead

DESCRIPTION:  This is a trail run throughout the Rattlesnake Slope Preserve.  It showcases the beauty and openness of the Sagebrush Steppe of Southeastern Washington. The Half Marathon is 2000 feet gain over the 13.1 miles. This is a challenging course. The Rav to Rav has 800 ft gain over 5.6 Miles.

​REGISTRATION: Pre-Registration is open until Sunday October 30th, 2022. There is Day of Registration.

​PACKET PICK UP: We will have packet pickup at Bookwalter Winery 3-5 PM on Saturday November 5th, as well as the morning of the race starting at 6:30 AM.

​REASON: Besides the ultimate goal of getting everyone out and active, this is a fundraiser for the Rattlesnake Slope Preserve. This event is also to encourage all to Think More Native and Edible Landscaping. 

​GEAR: Weather can be unpredictable this time of year so come prepared and ready for rain/sun/wind/or snow.

​COST/MERCHANDISE: 
Half Marathon: $45 if Pre-Registered by September 30th. $55 if registered online by Sunday October 30th. Day of Registration is $65

Rav to Rav: $25 if Pre-Registered by September 30th. $30 if registered online by Wednesday November 3rd. Day of Registration is $40

A race shirt is included with Pre-Registration.

There will also be other Runners of the Sage Merchandise for sale. All proceeds go to the fundraising efforts of this event.

​AWARDS/PRIZES: 
Half Marathon: All Half Marathon finishers will receive a medal. Awards for overall Top 3 Male and Female. The 1st Place Male and Female winners will each receive $100. The 2nd Place Male and Female will each win $50. The 3rd Place Male and Female will each win $25.

​Rav to Rav: Awards for overall Top 3 Male and Female. 

If anyone sets a new course record they will earn an additional $50.

​PARKING: Come early to grab a parking spot at the trailhead. Overflow parking will be on the shoulder of 225. This highway isn’t very busy but does have some traffic so be careful walking to the race start.

​AID STATIONS: We will have Aid Stations at Mile 2(9ish) and Mile 3(10ish). We will have water and some snacks out at the aid stations. We encourage all to bring your own water bottle(container) to minimize waste.
