Course Description
For the Caveman, choose from our challenging 5K, 10K, or 20K distances! And this year, you can also choose the 20K Mountain bike race!
The event will take place on the Flying V Trails located about 8 miles north of Newcastle, WY, on US HWY 85, across from the Flying V Cambria Inn. Parking will be allowed in the trailhead parking lot. Overflow parking will be on the south side of the Flying V Cambrian Inn. Look for the signs for the Flying V Inn. To get to the start area, follow the orange flagging past the Flying V Lodge and up the abandoned road to the highway. Cross the highway and walk up the paved road to the trailhead.
The course for each distance will consist of a combination of single-track trails, double-track skid roads, and fire access roads. The 20K MTB race will follow the same route as the 20K trail race. All participants who register by May 1st will receive a unique participant race souvenir. Be sure to register on time, you won't want to miss these!

No race day registrations will be taken No Refunds: Due to the upfront costs and fees associated with organizing this event, no refunds or rollovers will be given for registration.
Schedule
Packet pick up will be on race day, beginning at 7 am. Please arrive early to allow time to check in prior to the race start.
