The course is a mostly flat, non-paved surface (cinders). You might find gators helpful!
Overnight camping the night before the event and/or setup will be allowed in for the designated areas. We'll have more information for you during check-in. Please note open air fires are not allowed.
Water, Gatorade, and assorted soft drinks will be available for the race. Please plan on using your own cup/bottle. We will have volunteers to assist you refilling bottles. We’ll have an assortment of snack food at the start-finish aid station. There will be no other aid stations on the course. Hamburger/pizza will be available afternoon and late in the day on Saturday. If you have special dietary requirements please plan on bringing what you need. We will also have coffee and hot water available.
No refunds; no transfers or deferrals will be allowed. (Unless we are impacted by COVID)
Net proceeds go to Franklin County Recreation Department for park improvements.
Medals
If you do more 31.1 miles (50K), we’ll have a medal for you. If you do 100 miles you’ll earn a buckle. No age group awards except we recognize overall male and overall female.
