Sweat Hot Oklahoma Summer Trials is a quintessential small town Oklahoma race, a throwback to old-school summer conditioning with the combination of a rural high school track, cracked asphalt and old dirt roads. All are welcome to run a 5K in the morning with family and friends. For those who want more of a challenge, runners will test themselves in the thick of the Oklahoma July heat with either a 6 or 12-hour endurance run. NEW to 2023 - 6 hour TWO PERSON RELAY (baton provided)

6:00 AM start for 6 & 12 hour runners. 8:00 AM start for 5K.

Course Description

This course is NOT CLOSED. There will be traffic. There will also be signage to alert vehicles of runners. You must pay attention to your surroundings out on the course.

6&12 hour will run on a 3.3 mile "loop". The course will be easily marked. There is approximately 60 feet of gain. There will be some shade on the gravel county road. 60/40 % asphalt/gravel combo.

5K runners will start further off of the track for safety reasons and make (1) single course loop and finish on the track. Participants run as many of these loops as they can in 12 or 6 hours. Only complete loops count. Most loops win. If there is a tie, the winner is determined by the fastest last loop.
