Resiliency Run
Are you ready!? We are SO excited to be holding this event! We are teaming up with Reps for Responders for the first annual Resiliency Run. As a small company that has strong personal connection with mental health advocacy, our first responders and our community's well- being at large -- we are happy to be raising funds and miles benefiting the Reps for Responders non-profit 5013c in the name of our close friend Sabrina Ferrara.
There will be three distance options - 13.1M, 10K, and 5K - to encourage as many people as possible to join us for a stellar day on the trails.
Reps for Responders
The Reps For Responders Non-Profit (501c3), operates under the mission of improving the physical and emotional survivability skills of first responders so that they can make responsible decisions both on the job and in their personal lives. Our services support the mental health and well-being of all first responders, military and nurses, active, and volunteer, with the ultimate goal of reducing the suicide rate in the first responder community. Our preventive programs promote four pathways to ‘recovery’, all of which are evidence-based strategies for improving overall wellness. Pathways include (1) physical activity, (2) proper nutrition, (3) social connection via peer support and (4) a variety of clinical treatment modalities provided by mental health professionals who specialize in working with trauma, substance use disorder and first responders.
