Race Info
Welcome to the first annual Wet Hot American 5k at Camp Brewing in Hampton, Ga! Race will begin and end at Camp Brewing in downtown Hampton. Once you are finished you can hang out after the race for the after party. When you register make sure to purchase the wristband ($12) which will get you a pint glass and two pours. We will have awards for first place male and female overall, first place male and female masters and top 3 in each age group for every 10 years and 70+. All runners will get an amazing Wet Hot American t-shirt if you register by the deadline of August 18th.

RACE DAY INFO
LOCATION: Camp Brewing Company 8 Cherry st Hampton GA 30228. The Start and finish will be in front of the brewery.
PARKING: Parking is tight in downtown Hampton. Utilize the streets on Main St and the Train Depot. Do not park in the townhouses parking spaces across from the brewery; those are private property.
PORTO’S: There will be 2 porto’s by the race start; please plan accordingly.
RACE TIMES: The 5K will start promptly @ 6pm
RACE DAY REG: There is race day registration for $35 any extra shirts will be 1st come 1st serve.
PACKET PICKUP: Race day by the brewery starting at 5pm
Wristbands/ Pint Glasses: If you ordered a wrist band for a pint glass and drinks after the race the wristband will be in your bag. Additional bands will be for sale race day for $12 if you didn’t order one. Your pint glass will be given to you after the race when you get a drink. You MUST show your ID in order to drink. All wristbands come with two pours.
RACE COURSE MARKINGS/ ROUTE: The course will be marked with white signs with red arrows that have our logo on them. It’s basically an out and back with a small loop inside a subdivision. There will be water at the turn around on McDonough st roughly around 1.5 miles. If you ran this race when it was the Jailhouse 5K it’s not the same course. AWARDS/ POST RACE: 5K awards will be after the last 5K runner finishes.
BIBS/ RACE CHANGES: Please make sure your bib is on the outside of your clothes on the left side. It must be visible and not under any clothing when you cross the finish line to make sure we capture your chip time. Also, these chips are reusable so we will be collecting them at the finish line after the race.
