Charity 5k!

A family fun running and walking event hosted by Half-Newt Running Events at beautiful Lake Eden in Black Mountain, NC! This is a completely Not-For-Profit event and ALL proceeds will be donated to Carolina Abortion Fund and Mountain Area Abortion Doula Collective! Stay after the race and enjoy post-race food on site!

Course Description:

This race follows 3.2 miles of mixed surface pavement and well maintained gravel roads with gorgeous views of the entire Lake Eden property. Whether you come to race or walk for a great cause this course is perfect for beginners and veterans alike!

Race Swag/Awards:

All runners will get a t-shirt as part of the registration. This is a completely not-for-profit charity event so in an effort to keep costs low and our donation to the cause high we will only be giving awards to the top 3 male and top 3 females overall and not age group awards.

Refund Policy:

Unfortunately, due to our costs of this event and our pledged donation to our chosen charity organizations we will not be able to provide refunds for this race.
