10th year for this event at Alsea Falls and a new twist.
The Hell of the NW trail relay pits you against the Alsea Falls Trail System for a fantastic day of friends and food, and fun! Run SOLO or have your friends sign up individually to create a team of 2,3 or 4 for the Half or Full Marathon Distance.
New Trail Runners are especially welcome, along with the experienced and nimble athletes we see each year.
We will make this as scary as we can and set you on a course for adventure.

A walk in the park for some or a great time deep in the Oregon Coast Range at Alsea Falls just prior to Halloween! The 1/2 Marathon will take you through a lush canopy with close to 1900 ft of vertical as you make your loop. The 10K takes you on part of the "Hell" without quite as much commitment and 960 total elevation gain. Map is online so no matter what level of runner you are, prepare for a great time. No refunds are available after entry. In the case of a medical emergency, up to 14 days before the event, we will push your entry to the Spring fling in 2023.
If you happen to test positive for COVID-19 and can't attend, we will transfer 50% of your funds forward to the next season. Thank you
Running as a 2, 3 or 4 person in the Half or Full Distance? Simply have each one of your friends sign up individually and make sure to list the team name and distance you are signing up for.

The Half Distance max is 2 runners, while the Full marathon can be 2,3 or 4 people running for your overall team time! We will track your splits as well to talk about later for a post-event celebration, possibly at Long Timber Brewing in Monroe.
The start of the event is from the Fall Creek Trailhead, where parking exists.
