Join us for the 5th Annual XC Alumni 5K/1K Race/Walk! We are excited to once again host a 5K and 1 K fun run/walk in downtown Newcastle on Saturday, September 2nd. Everyone is welcome! All ages, and strollers too! Come out and support our Cross County team!
Registration
All registrations will include a wristband with the quote: "LET US RUN WITH ENDURANCE THE RACE THAT IS SET BEFORE US".

Registration for the 1K - $15
Online registration ends on September 1st but race day registrations will be accepted. Please arrive early if planning to register on the day of the event. No Refunds: Due to the upfront costs and fees associated with organizing this event, no refunds or rollovers will be given for registration.
Course Description
Both races start and end on Main Street in front of the historic Doggie Theater in downtown Newcastle. The 5K begins by heading down Main Street, heading west towards the bypass. Then turns on the Bypass and travels over the overpass. After crossing over the overpass runners will turn left on South Seneca Avenue and continue to West Winthrop Avenue where runners will turn left. Then it's left on Summit Ave and follow that around to Main Street again and downhill to the finish!
The 1K course also begins in front of the Doggie Theater and heads west on Main Street. Participants will then turn left on Railroad Avenue and then another left on Wentworth. Then left on Summit Avenue and follow that around to Main Street to a downhill finish!

Schedule
Participants can register and registered participants can pick up their bib numbers and t-shirts the morning of the beginning at 7 am. All participants must check in on race day so please arrive early!
1K race begins at 8:15 am
5K begins at 8:30 am
