Bob's Big Timber
This will make our seventh ear of hosting Bob's Big Timber Backyard Ultra on our family farm. In each of our six previous years we had multiple runners compete at Big's. Our backyard is noted for its venue, hospitality, and high mileage. The farm currently has the 7th generation living on it. Our forest and land conservation practices of past and present speak for themselves. Trails that meander under the canopy of the Old Growth Timber and flow around and through prairie floral represent the trails you will be running. These same trails are shared with our running community, cross country team, and local charitable organizations for fund raisings. Bob's Big Timber is truly a backyard event; with the day and night trails running on and around the homestead that has been in the family going on 150 years. Free camping and parking is available near the start/finish line. Come join us on August 2, 2025 for a fun weekend of running and comradery with other like minded ultra athletes.
