Overview

Whether you’re an experienced trail runner, an ultrarunner, a trail newbie, a Trail Race Director, a fan of the sport, or somewhere in between, the tenth annual US Trail Running Conference, presented by Ultrasignup and Spartan Trail, is for you. The Conference is held in partnership with the American Trail Running Association and brought to you by Active at Altitude.

The tenth edition of the US Trail Running Conference takes place in Mukilteo, WA. We look forward to an exciting event in a stunning location that has a strong trail running community. The Conference takes place in the Rosehill Community Center - there is ample parking for all participants at the conference location. The Community Center is fully accessible for adaptive athletes, has an effective recycle policy, and is powered by 99% renewable energy sources. We hope that COVID will be in a different place in October 2022, and have confidence that we can host another safe Conference that is respectful to participants and organizers whatever the status is at that time.

The primary accommodation option for all attendees is TBA.


Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday of the 2022 Conference has content geared to Trail Race Directors, including panels, round table sessions, and breakout sessions to share information and brainstorm ideas that our surveys have found are critical for all Trail Race RD’s. The event also includes a top-level expo featuring vendors that provide products or services relevant to Trail Race Directors.

You can choose to attend for the entire Conference, or you have options to include portions of the Conference to suit your schedule. You also have the option to include the trail runner sessions on Saturday, October 22. We will also include fun runs on local trails in the Mukilteo area during the Conference..

The rates for Trail Race Directors include access to all workshops and sessions, networking events where featured, access to the expo, lunch on the full days, and refreshments at break times. There will also be a Conference app available. See the full schedule for Trail Race Directors here.

The final Saturday of the Conference on October 22, offers content dedicated to Trail Runners. With a combination of interactive workshops, this is an event that Trail Runners will not want to miss!
