Welcome to Morrow Mountain State Park and the Naked Mountain Ultra!
Morrow Mountain is one of the highest peaks in the Uwharrie Mountains of central North Carolina.
These pinnacles are the remains of one of the oldest mountain ranges in the eastern United States.
The park houses 32 miles of beautiful trail and you are about to become well acquainted with the majority of them.
Prepare yourself to be challenged as this course will traverse you up all three mountain peaks and looping the park.

Come Train With Us!
We will begin training runs for the 2024 Naked Mountain Ultra the third Saturday in October and repeating every third Saturday of every month up until race day in March.
We will meet in the Morrow Mountain State Park Pool parking lot and start our run from there.
We will provide hydration and basic aid station food / fuel to support the runners.
