The MAC - Reg & Course Update Below!!

The Meeteetse Absaroka Challenge - The MAC is an iconic trail run located west of Meeteetse, Wyoming in the Shoshone National Forest. In 2023, we updated the 15K course slightly to make it safer for the increasing number of participants in this distance. There are still grueling climbs, high altitude views, and dizzying descents - we know you expect nothing less from The MAC.

We also offer a 5K distance - This lollypop course is fun, challenging, and achievable for all ages and ability levels.

15K - Be forewarned, this race will push you to your limits!  In true mountain race format there will be high elevation, steep climbs, questionable footing...oh, and did I mention it's all in grizz country?

***If you register for the 15K please be aware this is a serious mountain run with very steep ascents and descents. Due to the amount of runners on course, we DO NOT ALLOW GUNS.
