Moonlight Rendezvous - Race #2 of the Slope Series

This 5+ mile race sends you to the Massanutten Ski Slope Overlook by way of runnable single track, gaining over 1000 feet in just under 4 miles. From the Overlook, you will bomb down the gravel fire road back to the start/finish location.

This race takes place on the full moon, so head lamps and flashlights are required. The course will be marked with reflective taped streamers.

8:30 PM Start. Finish line will be booming and "well-lit".

Kid's Trail Mile

This 1 mile trail race for children ages 12 and under will start at 6:30 on the gravel and proceed on the green loop single track trail. Course marshals will oversee their safe crossing of a creek (that the kids will love!) and then children will proceed on single track, turning right (another course marshal here) until they cross the gravel road, running up a brief grassy hill and turning onto the final section of single track for an epic finish on the bike switchbacks! It will be a blast and sure to provide just enough challenge!

Parents are welcome to run alongside their child or position themselves on the gravel to cheer them on as they finish.

All mile finishers will receive a finisher's prize and a book of their choosing (from selection provided).
