Welcome runners to the 1st Annual Bright Ideas 5k Run/Walk and 1 mile FUN RUN!
This event, is a 5k and 1 mile FUN RUN around beautiful Cypress Gardens!
Eagle Endurance, LLC, along with the Berkeley Electric Cooperative, Inc. are co-hosting the event.
This event is a fundraiser for The Bright Ideas Education Grant Program which supports innovative and effective classroom education curriculum that cannot be covered by traditional school financing. Individual teachers can apply for grants up to $1,000 while teams of teachers are eligible for grants up to $1,500.
Teachers in public and private schools, K-12 in Berkeley Electric Cooperative’s service area are eligible to participate. Grants are awarded for projects in any discipline and are intended to help teachers within Berkeley Electric Cooperative’s service area produce a better-educated workforce. The grants are designed to help teachers introduce innovative teaching methods.
Grants are awarded annually in a competitive evaluation process. Applications are accepted May – June annually.
Awards based on AGE GROUP will be offered. Technical fabric shirts available with 5k registration ONLY.
Packet Pickup:
11:00AM until 6:00 PM on Friday, April 29, 2022 at Fleet Feet Carnes Crossroads, 2509 North Main Street, Summerville.
Morning of the event from 0630 AM until 7:30 AM NEAR THE GIFT SHOP AT CYPRESS GARDENS.
Restrooms will be made available near the Start/Finish line
Cancellation Policy: This event will happen rain or shine.
No refunds will be issued No registrations will be transferred.
Must register by April 10, 2022 to be guaranteed a shirt on race day.
