Vegas Polar Plunge

Come out and run in January with us! Choose a 5k, virtual 5k, 1M, virtual 1M, or just the plunge option! You will finish the race by jumping into very cold water! In 2022, the water was in the low 40's. In 2023, the water was in the high 30's. We will see what the temperature brings us in 2025! The race will be held at the Silver Springs outdoor pool and the course will traverse the Pittman Wash Trail! All of our runners will receive Vegas Polar Plunge beanie to help keep your heads warm!

Packet Pickup

Please arrive to the staging area 45 minutes -1 hour prior to event time to picket up bib.

Goodies!

We will have hot chocolate, coffee, and cookies for all of our runners after their courageous dip in the pool! For those who are over 21 years old, we will have something extra tasty to add to the hot chocolate. Also, cold Heineken Silver beer & Monster Energy drinks!

Plunge without the run

There are those that would just prefer to plunge into the freezing waters without running! We got you! At 12:30 PM, we will open the pool up for those plungers! All goodies are also available to the plungers. Vegas Polar Plunge race beanies will be available to purchase for nonrunners

Locker rooms and showers

The locker rooms and showers at this location are always clean and spacious. The showers will be hot and ready for you!
* Locker rooms are not co-ed

Virtual Runners

Run with us in spirit! All virtual runners will receive a medal and beanie in the mail within a week after the race. If there is a cold body of water around after your run...JUMP IN!!

Volunteers
