Participants must be 19 years of age or older on race day.
Relay runners will register individually and include their team's name in the registration process, legs will need to be confirmed prior to race day.
The first person to register, will register the team's name, once the team name is selected, the system will automatically place update a spot for remaining team member.

*You must be registered by December 24th, 2022 to be guaranteed your T-shirt size

FatShoe

FATSHOE, is an evening Fat Bike/Snowshoe race that can be done Solo or as a Team.
The course is a super fun 11km Fat Bike and 6.4 km snowshoe event located at Sovereign Lake Nordic Center during the BeerCanBeiner Craft Beer festival.

You will wind your way through the world-class cross-country ski trails, looping into the Stadium through the BeerCanBeiner festival with cheering festival goers on every loop.
Cross the line, from your snowshoe, grab your fat bike or tag your partner and go.....

Once you have completed all loops,
we will be waiting for you with coffee, hot chocolate or craft beer for you to enjoy.



About the Course:
· Looped course
· Each loop approximately 3.6km
· Riders will do 3 loops of a mostly lit up course
· Snowshoers will do 2 loops of the same course


About the BEER fest:
Welcome back Beer Aficionados! Sovereign Lake Nordic Center is excited to present the 4th Annual BeerCanBeiner.
The BeerCanBeiner is steeped in Nordic tradition. Well… the Birkebeinerrennet is, and that is a 54 km race that has taken place since 1932 in Lillehammer, Norway and commemorates a trip made by the Birkebeiner loyalists to save the infant heir to the Norwegian throne, Håkon Håkonsson, in 1206.
Sovereign’s event takes a slightly frothier route, travelling just over 5km under a headlamp to three rustic venues under the night sky. Sample craft beers from throughout the region and finish off with a coffee or hot chocolate at the lodge once complete.
