Registration closes: Sun, May 25 @ 11:59PM PT

Description

Yosemite needs no introduction. Her immense towers of glacially-cut granite shock the mind and senses into awe and humility. Running through this cathedral of granite is nothing short of transcendent. Over 6 days, runners climb, descend, and circumnavigate much of the main Yosemite Valley. Early starts, big vert, bigger views, and relaxing evenings await the motivated ultrarunner who wants to escape the crowds and experience the grandeur of Yosemite by bringing their stoke and endurance to the birthplace of the conservation movement and one of the most breathtaking landscapes on the planet.

Course Overview

Tuesday, Day 1: Arrive at Campground

We meet runners at 5pm at Yosemite. This is a great place to purchase or rent any last-minute gear. Aspire serves an evening meal and we go over routes, risk management, and gear in preparation for the run.

Wednesday, Day 2: Tunnel view to Sentinel Dome

This run probably contains Yosemite’s most famous vista. Lots of well-known landmarks are visible here including El Capitan, Yosemite Valley, Sentinel Rock, Cathedral Rocks, and Bridal veil Falls. All your gear and plenty of hot food, showers, and beer at basecamp Campground.

Thursday, Day 3: Glacier Point to Mist Trail

Let's go chasing waterfalls and spectacular views of Yosemite Valley. Refreshments await you before shuttling back basecamp.

Friday, Day 4: Snow Creek to Yosemite Falls

Tucked back in Tenaya Canyon, accessed from the eastern Yosemite Valley. It is a grueling hike that begins on the Valley floor and climbs to its rim, but which offers great views along the way. Once in basecamp, we have dinner and drinks.

Saturday, Day 5: Yosemite Falls to El Capitan
At a height of more than 2,425 ft Yosemite Falls is one of the tallest waterfalls in North America. Runners will make their way to El Capitan’s iconic granite walls. Another delicious warm dinner provided by Aspire awaits you at basecamp

Sunday, Day 6: Drop YARTS Riders and Travel Day

We celebrate, we congratulate, and eventually say our goodbyes.
