Overview
This is an Everesting Run Challenge, but with 5 shorter options for those that may not want to go the whole way.
The course is 0.35 mile long (one-way) and has an 89 meter (292 feet) elevation gain. Completion of 100 laps will result in a total elevation gain that essentially mimics the height of Mt. Everest. Finisher awards will be distributed based on how many laps are completed, with the following categories:
100 laps (Mt. Everest - 29,032 ft)
85 laps (Annapurna III - 24,787 ft)
70 laps (Denali - 20,310 ft)
50 laps (Mt. Rainier - 14,411 ft)
29 laps (Mt. St. Helens - 8,363 ft)
13 laps (Rattlesnake Mountain - 3,531 ft).
Participants can start at any one of the following start times, but the course will close at 4pm on Saturday December 7th:
Friday 12/6: 8am, 12pm, 4pm, 8pm
Saturday 12/7: 8am, 12pm
Food and snacks will be provided throughout the event. Finisher awards will be given based on completed distance with a FKT Award given to the quickest person to finish 100 laps.
