Sierra Prieta 50K

Welcome to the inaugural Sierra Prieta 50K. As of right now, this course is an unofficial "fat ass" style race, although I am working on getting it permitted. Until it's permitted, it's a fat ass unofficial race with a minimal entry fee. Course will be marked and aid will be provided, as well as prizes for the winners. There will be a few aid stations along the way providing water and snacks, but you’re encouraged to carry most of what you need.

This is a point to point race, starting at the white spar campground, and ending at the Spence Springs trailhead off Iron Springs Road. This route traverses some incredibly rugged and beautiful terrain through the Sierra Prieta mountains around the Prescott area. The route is just shy of 32 miles and 7,000 feet of climbing! Expect rugged, rocky and steep climbs and descents and some beautiful backcountry running.

There will be a few aid stations along the way and the course will be marked.
