WHHM@ Gold Country Sunday Run

On August 11th, Gold Country Run and Sport is thrilled to host an official training run for the Women’s Headlands Half Marathon on October 5th, presented by our friends at San Francisco Running Company! This approximately 5.5 mile route (with the option to for runners to shorten to about 4.75 miles if desired) is a fun and challenging loop of almost entirely single track trails along Folsom Lake, starting from the ARCO on Sophia Parkway. It features a tough initial climb and then gentle rolling hills the rest of the way, as well as restrooms and water around mile 3.

Join us for a fun morning, and while the Headlands Half is a women’s only event, all are welcome at this training run! We will be meeting at the ARCO at 8am on August 11th, and there is plenty of free parking available along either side of Sophia Parkway.

Additionally, SF Run Co will be raffling off a FREE entry to the race, as well as other fun prizes! And, anyone who signs up for the Half that morning will receive a 10% discount!
