About the race

A Nascar-themed 6 hour, 12 hour, and 24 hour track race on the Bradley Middle School Track at Richard Barry Memorial Park in Huntersville, NC.

8:00am -8:45am Sat – Packet/Bib Pickup

8:45am-9:00am Sat – Pre race meeting

9:00am Sat – 24Hour, 12 hour, and 6 hour start

3:00pm Sat – 6 hour finish and awards

9:00pm Sat – 12 hour finish and awards

9:00am Sun – 24 Hour finish and awards

The start/ finish (pictured in link in Yellow) will have a wooden arch going over the width of the track and barriers on each side to create a finishing chute. A timing tent (pictured in the link in blue) next to the start/finish line arch and barriers will be a timing tent. Next to the timing tent will be another tent for an aid station (pictured in the link in red) for runners. This will be the only aid station on the course. The aid station will have multiple 10x10 pop up tents, folding tables and chairs along with food and drinks for runners. We will have heat lamps due to temperatures in January being cold, first aid, and a location for drop bags with runners clothing and equipment. Across the track from the aid station and timing tent will be the runner crew areas (pictured in the link in green). You will be able to have your own tents and chairs and race items. Tents will be secured with sand bags or weights without damaging the track surface. A porta-potty (pictured in the link in brown) will be next to the track for everyone to use through out the event. We will have them outside of the track and closet to the entrance as possible.

Parking

Parking will be in the nearby lots at Richard Barry Memorial Park (pictured in the link in the purple rectangle).
