Race Description

Pomeroy, SoleKids is at it again with another great 5k in scenic Pomeroy, Washington. This fall's 5k begins and ends at the Pomeroy Community Garden located at the intersection of 3rd Street and Pataha Street in Pomeroy.

This exciting race is the culmination of the Fall 2024 SoleKids season and features a flat, fast loop course through town. Enjoy fall colors and cooler temperatures on your way to your first 5k or your fastest!

SoleKids, Pomeroy

SoleKids, Pomeroy is part of SoleKids, a Boise based non-profit dedicated to fostering a lifelong love of running in kids age pre-k to 5th grade. Currently, we run a spring and fall program that meets twice a week for eight weeks training for a 5k race! Be sure to cheer on these little runners out on the course!

We have a limited number of shirts available for participants. Order early to ensure you get the size you want!

inclusivity and Financial Hardship

Our primary goal with this event is to get people out into the woods and enjoy trail running. We do not want to let any financial hardship stand in the way of participating in this event. If you are unable to pay for whatever reason. Please reach out to Will Marquardt at wfmarquardt2@gmail.com as soon as you can.

Also, entry into this event is FREE for all SoleKids, Pomeroy runners! The entry code will be provided by Coach Sarrah or Coach Will.

Aid Stations

A PortaPotty will be set up at the start/finish line and an aid station will be set up at the halfway point.
