Join us for our fourth Jog for the Dogs 5k and 1 Mile Fun Run & Walk! A fundraiser for AJ’s Search & Rescue!

All ages and breeds welcome! Standard leashes only, max 6’. No retractable leashes, please!
Strollers welcome.
Course: A scenic loop around Water Works Park, with a short out-and-back section down the Bike and Hike for 5K runners. Timed 5K with awards for top runners.
All participants (5K & 1 Mile) will receive a short-sleeve T-shirt.
5K human finishers will earn a medal, and our K9 finishers will get a toy!

Come out, bring your furry friends, and help us celebrate this pawsome event for a great cause!

Who is AJ's Search & Rescue?

AJ's Search and Rescue is a 501c3 non-profit animal rescue based in Akron, Ohio founded in 2016. We rescue animals and search to find them a forever home. We are a foster based organization that takes homeless dogs and cats into our homes and provide them with proper medical care, food, shelter and love until they find their forever home and get adopted.

Packet Pickup

Packet pickup will be near the start/finish line at the Little Stone Pavilion before the race, starting at 8:00am.

Course

The course is a simple loop around the entire back half of Water Works park, starting near the playground and looping up around the soccer/baseball fields. 5K runners will split off for a short out and back down the Bike and Hike.

Refunds

There are no refunds or deferrals.
