Join us for the Turkey Trek 5K & 10K as we wind through the Possum Kingdom Lake Hike and Bike Trails, featuring rugged terrain, limestone outcroppings, and sweeping views of the lake. Runners will experience a mix of sandy flats, rocky climbs, and scenic overlooks that showcase the natural beauty of Possum Kingdom Lake.

Course Overview
- Surface: Dirt single track with rocky and rooty sections
- Course: Possum Kingdom Hike & Bike Trail Phase I and II- South D&D start/finish
- Elevation: Gradual climb followed by a rewarding descent into the finish line; showing 350-foot elevation for 5K loop
- Location: South D&D Park (BRA Area #4)
- Weather: Historic Average 42-68 degrees
- Cupless Race: Please bring a cup or bottle, we don't serve cups

The start and finish are located at the South D&D Park (BRA Area #4). The start and finish will be out of the South D&D East Trailhead.

Registration closes either before Nov 27th at 12:00AM or at 100 people capacity. No race day registration is available.

Runners may receive a full race credit to any race of their choosing with a minimum 30-day notice. Race credits cannot be transferred for notices less than 30 days. We do not offer full refunds. Receive your credit by canceling your registration. To cancel, log into Ultrasignup > Registration History and select “Edit” to cancel your race. Your credit needs to be used within one year. If you need an extended time to use your credit due to medical reasons (including pregnancy) or military deployments, please reach out beforehand.
We proudly offer discounts for all active duty military & first responders. Please visit our website and contact us to claim your discount. We will ask for a picture of your ID.
Please note, Holiday Races does not ship out race apparel or medals if a runner does not show up for the race.
