Welcome to the Oregon Outback 230… a race like no other!
The Oregon Outback 230 is a point-to-point adventure through the indescribably vast and beautiful wildscapes of the Oregon Outback. This is a land as lovely as it is lonely; a sweeping, soul-stirring place where the ancient volcanic arc of the Eastern Cascades gives way to the sage-scented solitude of the Basin & Range.
There are few places left in the world that offer the sense of solitude that the Oregon Outback provides. You will be woven into the tapestry of birth, life, death, and renewal in a way that cannot be described, only felt. The Oregon Outback is also the largest designated International Dark Sky Sanctuary in the world!
The Oregon Outback 230 takes place upon lands significant to the Modoc, Klamath and Yahooskin Band of Northern Paiute peoples.
