First Annual Hamburg Hustle

Come join us for the first annual Hamburg Hustle Trail Race! This 5K race begins in front of the park's historic grist mill and museum where you will depart down the nature trail. From there you follow the lakeside down sections of the red and white trails catching great views of the lake and campground across the water. Once you reach our aid station at the halfway point you will begin the loop back towards the park office following muscadine laced trails. Be sure to register before September 1st to guarantee yourself a commemorative shirt! Race day coffee, snacks, and fruit will be available at the starting area. Additional water and snacks can be found at the aid station half way through the course.

All race registration proceeds go directly to our volunteer group, the Friends of Hamburg State Park! They are the backbone behind all of our larger park events, and we couldn't do it without their support! Additional Information

- Each vehicle parking for the race must have a valid GA State Park Pass displayed or tied to their vehicle tag. Park staff will be selling passes at the event parking area for anyone without an annual pass.
- There are no age groups. This is a flat out race.
- This is a trail race with no road/paved sections included. Please watch carefully for roots, rocks, and wildlife!
