We are waiting for you to embrace some discomfort and run toward your potential. We welcome new, seasoned, and advanced runners. This race is about building community and serving others.

Course

Start/Finish: Sawnee Elementary School

The 5 mile course takes runners down the Big Creek Greenway and up to the Sawnee Mountain Visitors Center. There, runners will make a loop, up the hill, around the parking lot next to the visitors center and return on the Big Creek Greenway back to Sawnee Elementary School. Please heed all intersections as the entire course will remain open to the public. Runners will cross several bridges, intersections of private drives, and intersections of neighborhoods and traffic lights. Do not disobey crosswalk at traffic lights.

The 9 mile course takes runners down the Big Creek Greenway, up to the Sawnee Mountain Visitors Center, and onto the Indian Seats Loop trail. There, runners will follow the Indian Seats Loop trail up to the Summit. From the Summit, head back to the ISL trail and follow the markers to close the loop and make it back to the visitors center before returning to the Big Creek Greenway and back to Sawnee Elementary School. Please heed all intersections as the entire course will remain open to the public. You will cross several bridges, intersections of private drives, and intersections of neighborhoods and traffic lights. Do not disobey crosswalk at traffic lights.

The 13 mile course takes runners down the Big Creek Greenway, up to the Sawnee Mountain Visitors Center, and onto the Indian Seats Loop trail. There, runners will follow the Indian Seats Loop trail up to the Summit. From the Summit, head back to the ISL trail and follow the markers to close the loop. Runners will do this 2x, meaning 2 loops and 2 summits. Runners will close the second loop and make it back to the visitors center before returning to the Big Creek Greenway and back to Sawnee Elementary School. Please heed all intersections as the entire course will remain open to the public. You will cross several bridges, intersections of private drives, and intersections of neighborhoods and traffic lights. Do not disobey crosswalk at traffic lights.
