Where Legends Run Wild!

Sasquatch Ultra

The Sasquatch Ultra is a timed mountain trail race where your goal is simple: cover as much distance as possible during your chosen 6-, 12-, or 24-hour event. Rather than chasing a fixed-distance finish, you decide how far you can go, with every completed lap adding to your final distance.

Set at Sasquatch Mountain Resort, the event combines alpine scenery, mountain trails, and a lively start/finish area with the distinctive atmosphere of a timed ultra. Whether you're looking for your first timed endurance event or a long-duration challenge, the loop format lets you settle into your own rhythm and keep returning to your personal home base.

Course Description

The course is a 10 km trail loop with 500 m of elevation gain per lap. That means real climbing and descending, not a flat, repetitive circuit.

The loop begins and ends at the start/finish area, so you can set up a convenient base camp. Bring your own tent and pitch it beside the start and finish line. Your gear and crew stay close.

Because the race is timed, there is no required number of laps for the 6-, 12-, or 24-hour events. Your final distance depends on how many laps you complete before your event's time expires.

Aid Stations & Support

The rotating food menu is a big part of this race. New items show up about every three hours. Think fried rice, grilled cheese, perogies, hamburgers, hot dogs, vegetarian options, cheese tortellini, tater tots, soup, and pancakes.

The menu was built for ultra athletes by Carol-Ann Rolle, The Endurance Dietitian. The goal is real food with plenty of variety, so you have something worth eating all day and all night.

Runner Experience

The start/finish area works as an ultra village. Pitch a tent right beside the course and you have a place to come back to between laps. Your crew and personal support stay close.

There's a kids' race too, so the whole family can be part of race day. The 24-hour runners keep going through the night, with the last scheduled finishers coming in the following morning.
