Join us for the 10th annual Bakersfield Turkey Trot Walk & Run benefiting the Bakersfield Homeless Center. Enjoy this fun and family friendly run/walk with courses of 1M, 5K, and 10K. Races are timed by the Bakersfield Track Club and awards are given out for the 5K and 10K best times. Younger kids can participate in their very own Lil’Gobbler Run with Big Bob the Turkey. Kids can also create their own Thanksgiving crafts and decorations in the free kids craft and activity area.

Benefitting the Bakersfield Homeless Center

Proceeds benefit the children and families at the Bakersfield Homeless Center (BHC). BHC is a 501(c)(3) non-profit committed to serving the fastest growing population of homeless in our community – our children – who cannot speak for themselves or ask for our help. On average, over 100 children a night stay at BHC; warm, snug, and well-fed. BHC is dedicated to serving homeless children and assisting their parents in taking control of their family’s future. Contributions to BHC help provide supportive services such as shelter, food, clothing, childcare, and assistance to women, children, and families in need. Together, we can break the cycle of homelessness by reaching into the lives and hearts of the homeless and instilling the knowledge and support needed to become self-sufficient.
