About the event

The 2014 Trail Run Series will be on October 11th and 25th. The first race will follow the traditional Race Loop plus Canyon and the second will start at the Valve House trail head and end at the yurt. Both course are around 5 miles but pack 10 miles of misery. Bib pick up is from 7:30 to 8:45. The race begins at 9:00. Following the race, refreshments will be served at the yurt. The cost for each race is only $15 or you can register for both races for $25! Door Prizes and race souvenirs will be awarded at the completion of the final race (October 25).

FROM POCATELLO
Head South on N. Arthur (one way) which will turn into a two way at (Bannock Hwy)


• 4.5 mi on Bannock Highway, turn/veer Right on Mink Creek Rd.
• 4.8 mi. Left on FS 001 Rd or E. Fork Mink Creek
• 1.6 mi. Right on dirt road. Mink Creek Nordic Center sign
• Follow dirt road to parking lot



FROM I-15 SOUTHBOUND
• Take Exit 63 (Portneuf Area)
• Right off ramp
• First Left (E. Fork Mink Creek Recreation Sign)
• Cross RR tracks
• After crossing tracks
• Right or North on Portneuf Rd. (Mink Creek Recreation Area sign)
• 1.2 mi Left Yield (Mink Creek Nordic Center sign)
• Left at stop sign onto Mink Creek Rd.
• 4.6 mi. Left on FS 001 Rd. or E. Fork Mink Creek
• 1.6 mi. Right on dirt road. Mink Creek Nordic Center sign
• Follow dirt road to parking lot

FROM I-15 NORTHBOUND
• Take Exit 63 (Portneuf Area)
• Right off ramp
• Go under I-15
• Straight/veer right through intersection and cross RR tracks
• After crossing tracks
• Right or North on Portneuf Rd. (Mink Creek Recreation Area sign)
• 1.2 mi Left Yield (Mink Creek Nordic Center sign)
• Left at stop sign onto Mink Creek Rd.
• 4.6 mi. Left on FS 001 Rd or E. Fork Mink Creek
