A WEST COAST ALPINE MOUNTAIN ULTRA

Baldy Marathons is inspired by the Barkley Marathons.

Consisting of the same 5 laps, each 20 miles in length with the same time cutoffs.
Each lap has 10,000 feet of gain and 50,000 feet for the 100 miler.
Results are on the linked website as there will never be enough finishers for this race to be considered an official race on here.

Participants will have 5 locations you need to punch a card for each lap and punch B.A.L.D.Y. in order on forward laps.
Laps 1 and 2 are forward.
Laps 3 and 4 in reverse.
Lap 5 is runners choice.

Each lap consists of 1/3 very steep off trail, 1/3 steep trail, and 1/3 a little less steep trail.
Baldy Marathons is an unmarked true Mountain Ultra.
It will be much more difficult than any “trail race” you’ve ever done.

There is a separate site with all the information you will need prior to the start after you register, including directions and GPS Coordinates and rules.
The information on this site will be sent to you after registration.

This will be the 10th Baldy Marathons Race.
So far there have been 8 who have finished the 100k and 3 finishers of the 100 miler, (out of 176 starters).
