2021 Horse Lake 25k, 10 mile and 5 mile Trail Runs Presented By Subaru/Cascade Autocenter
We are excited to be back on these Historic Wenatchee Valley Trails! The 25k, 10 mile, and 5 mile trail runs encompass this amazing 1,700-acre reserve which represents a critical piece of protected open lands in the Wenatchee Foothills for recreation. Due to COVID-19 prevention protocols, we have a very limited capacity for the event.

Course Description
The 25k, 10 mile and 5-mile courses encompass the incredible single track and double track trails of the Horse Lake Reserve. Amazing mountain and valley views are seen from all the trails. Maps and elevation of each route is available on our website, https://www.runwenatchee.com/event/horse-lake-trail-runs/.
Fundraising
Proceeds from this event go directly back to CDLT for trail development and maintenance of these trails. All the trails that you will run on have been in some way supported by this race so thank you and we look forward to continuing to support and build new trails to run and play on!
Ruck Division
We have added a new "twist" to our trail events. We have added a new option called Rucking.
RUCK•ING [VERB] // Walking/hiking with a weighted rucksack (aka backpack). It implies action, energy, and purpose. Rucking requires strength, endurance, and character -- and builds it, too.
Rucking is the foundation of Special Forces training, but is also a great alternative to running for those that are not able to run but are avid hikers, walkers, and fast packers.
Many of us have taken on rucking as another way to stay fit and challenge ourselves on the trails, so we decided to add this to our event schedule!
The rules: Complete the 25k, 10 mile or 5 mile wearing the pack: Special Award Given to those that complete the event wearing the pack.
Weight Requirements:
Bodyweight under 150 lbs: 20 lbs + Rucksack/Backpack
Bodyweight over 150 lbs: 30 lbs + Rucksack/Backpack
