The first annual 5K – Dude! Where's My Bike?

We're running in memory of Drew Esquivel, a Healdsburg native and college student who was tragically taken from us in 2016. In keeping with his memory, we ‘Live Like Drew’ with our eyes to the future, supporting a scholarship in his name that will support a local student athlete in fulfilling their dreams just as Drew pursued his.

100% of sponsor proceeds and all money raised goes to this important legacy.

The Rotary Club of Healdsburg Sunrise has established a scholarship fund to honor Drew Esquivel, the son of Andy and Susanne Esquivel and brother to Elisabeth and Emma. The passing of Drew has been a tremendous loss to his family and the Healdsburg community. The Rotary family believes that a scholarship recognizing outstanding students who exhibit the leadership, scholarship, athletic, service and adventure ideals so evident in Drew’s life, is an appropriate way to honor his memory. The initial deposit of $10,000 will establish the scholarship, the specific details of which will be finalized after consultation with the Esquivel family.
