Salomon OutdoorFest Ultra + Concert
Come for the ultra and stay for the party! All trail run tickets get you access to the after party with a live show and beer by Sierra Nevada.
The clock will be set for 6-hours and you (or your relay team) will need to run as many laps on our 6k course as you can. Then you get to rest, hydrate and check your splits before joining in for beer, dancing and a live show. Note: this is registration for the Salomon OutdoorFest Ultra. Those looking to stay overnight and camp need to choose the "camping" add-on for Friday and Saturday night or if you just want to run in the headlamp 5K - registration is available here: http://bit.ly/2019campout

Additionally, Salomon will be on site with FREE male and female demo shoes. Runners are welcome to swap out shoes at the aid station!
-What about t-shirts?
In order to keep the cost of this event low, we do not include t-shirts in base registrations. If you'd like a t-shirt you can order one at check-out.
-Additionally, we donate part of every ticket sale to the Staten Island Greenbelt!
What's the schedule?
Friday May 31
6:00PM: campgrounds open for ultra runners. Race Registration 7-8PM.
Saturday June 1
7:15AM to 8:00AM: Last minute race registration open
8:30AM-2:30PM: Run
2:30PM - 7:00PM Rest, stretch, yoga, learn how to build a fire and hangout
8:15PM: Cheer on the 5Kers*, grab a beer (included in race registration!)
9:30-11:00PM: Dance, campfire
**After the Ultra there will be a 5K night race from 8:30 - 9:00PM. Anyone with an ultra bib can also run in this if you want.
Course + Ticket Info
Course description
The 7k course is a mix of hiking trails with sections of gravel road - all is entirely runnable. Expect some muddy sections along with a few little hills and some gorgeous single track. There are also some stunning viewpoints, lily pads included. 500-600 ft of elevation gain per loop.
Can I come Friday?
Yes! Access to the campground Friday night is only open to ultra runners and not the general public! It's $20 and available when you check out
When does Early Bird Registration close?
We have 50 early bird tickets for each category (relay and individual) and the offer expires on March 31, 2019. That means, Early Bird tickets will remain on sale until we hit 50 tickets or the date is March 31.
How long is the course?
The course will be around 7 kilometer loop on trail
How long does this race last?
You will have 6 hours to do as many laps as you can. This will be a chipped race and you'll be able to see each split after the event is finished.
When do I get my bib?Runners can pick up their bibs between 6 and 8pm on Friday night and then 1 hour before the race on Saturday. Is there parking
Yes, there is free parking on site and on the street.What type of running is this?
Expect rocks, roots, and uneven surfaces on 80% of the course. There are also a few sustained hills for you to enjoy. Expect 500-600ft of elevation gain per lap.
Can I create a relay team?
Yes! Relay team's can have anywhere from 2 - 5 people. The "relay team" price option covers all members of your relay team.
Aid?
We will have two aid stations with water and snacks.
What if I don't finish?
We don't care, you're still awesome.
What's with all the other people making fires and eating s'mores?
Tonight is also the official OutdoorFest campout. If you want to come to that you need to purchase the camping add-on during check-out.
Refunds?
We will be able to offer a 50% refund up until 7 days before the event. After 7 days there are no refunds.
Bag Drop?
There are picnic tables near the main aid station area for you to leave bags/coolers/etc!

What categories of winner will there be?
Each of the following category winners will receive prizes:
Fastest Male & Female up to 35
Fastest Male & Female 35 & over
Fastest "first timer" (must finish all six hours)
Plus, all the members of the fastest Relay Team will win an OutdoorFest x Salomon swag bag!

Want to help feed, hydrate and inspire the runners? We're looking for volunteers who can help (wo)man the aid stations during the race.
All Friday Shift and Saturday Shift 3 volunteers will get a free race registration (individual) for the ultra. All Saturday Shift 1 and Shift 2 volunteers will get full campout tickets and 5K registration.
Please please please do not sign-up to volunteer if you are not going to make it for any reason. It's pretty uncool.
