Shuttle to100 Mile start - $57.31

Reserve a seat on the shuttle to the race start in Cave Spring Thursday morning. The shuttle will leave Cheaha State Park at 7:30 AM and transport runners that do not have a crew, to the Pinhoti Trailhead at Cave Spring, GA. This is a 1.5 hour trip and you will cross from Central Standard time zone to Eastern. You will arrive at the start a little after 9:30 AM. Runner check-in will take a while.

Purchase shuttle fate from the Finish at Cheaha State Park to the host hotel in Dalton. The shuttle will leave Cheaha State Park at noon Tuesday and transport you to the hotel. You will need to make reservations at the hotel for Tuesday night. You will then be taken to the race start location at Mill Creek, in Rocky Face, Georgia Wednesday morning. This is a one-way ticket to the race start. It is specifically for runners that will not have a crew at the start. There will be no return transportation from the finish back to the start in Georgia. Runners that drop along the course before finishing will be transported to the finish.

SS200 Training Camp - $169.93

The dates for the Southern States 200 Training Camp will be February 7th and 8th, 2026, at Cheaha State Park in Alabama, which serves as the finish location for both the SS200 and SS100. Participants of the 100-mile event are encouraged to join. The camp will consist of three segments, offering two preview runs of the course, including the final ascent to Alabama's highest point, Mt Cheaha! On Sunday morning, we will preview an additional section of the course. Full details are on the website.

BEFORE RESERVING A ROOM, BE SURE YOU HAVE CONTACTED SOUTHERN STATES EVENTS TO BE SURE ROOMS ARE AVAILABLE. Reserve a room for one night, two nights or 3 nights at Bald Rock Lodge, steps from the finish of SS200 and the SS100. The rooms are small but nice. This historic stone lodge has 12 rooms, each with a private bath and shower. The rooms are warm and clean. The nights available are Thursday, March 19, Friday, March 20, Saturday, March 21 and Sunday, March 22. Each room is $160 per night. Your crew may use the room while waiting for you finish. Three rooms sleep up to 4 persons. Eight rooms sleep 2. Seven rooms have queen beds. One room has a double bed.
