The Squatch Community Fund exists to support runners who are facing financial hardship and would otherwise be unable to participate. Thanks to the generosity of our trail community, this fund provides free or reduced-cost entries for those who need financial assistance.

In an effort to improve the diversity in trail racing and remove a potential barrier for the under-served and under-represented, we have created the Trail Mix Fund. While we all like to think this sport is accessible – “you just need a pair of shoes” – that just isn’t always the case. The Trail Mix Fund is available to anyone wanting to run a Go Beyond Racing or other participating race who could use some assistance in paying for it. Let’s fill the 100M / 36H / 100K start line with women, transgender women, and non-binary folks who identify with womanhood! In 2025 we had 38% identify as women and NB for those ultra distances. As of July 19, 2026, we are currently sitting at 51%! Even though we are currently above a 50/50 ratio, our historical data shows us that over 72% of the remaining registrations leading up to race day from this point will be folks who identify as male.
