Race Overview

The North Texas Ultra is a 10K, 25K, 50K, 52 Miler, and 100K run held on Fort Richardson State Park's Trailway in the foothills of North Texas. Featuring an open, scenic, historical, and paved with soft fine gravel. The race follows a 15.5-mile out & back course beginning and ending at the North Park Unit.

Course Overview

- Surface: Soft fine gravel, open trail.
- Course: Lost Creek Reservoir State Trailway
- Elevation: Relatively flat with gains and loss of 690ft every 15.5M loop.
- Location: Fort Richardson State Park - North Park Unit
- Weather: Historic Average 63-86 degree end of September weather.

Texas Ultra Championship

The Top 10 Males and Top 10 Females that run the 100K will qualify for the Texas Ultra 100K Championship taking place on Nov 18th in Georgetown TX for a chance to win thousands of dollars and the Texas Ultra Championship Title.

The start and finish are located at the North Park Unit of Fort Richardson State Park.

Packet pickup - 5:00AM to 7:15AM
100K - Start time 6:00 AM
50K & 52M - Start time 7:00 AM
10K & 25K - Start time 7:30 AM

Sunday
Cutoff - 3:00 AM (20 Hours)

Race Rules

100K - Four loops
52M - Three loops + one modified loop
50K - Two loops
25K - One loop
10K - One modified loop

This is a cupless race. We will have water refill stations to refill your own bottles and cups.
No littering.
Use trail etiquette.

What You Get

Every runner will get a North Texas Ultra Craft Sportswear short sleeve shirt and a collectible finisher race medal that matches with the other Texas Ultra Race medals. We will also have aid station food and supplies at this event.

50K & 52M finishers will receive a special North Texas Ultra 50K or 52 Miler Finisher token. 100K Finishers will receive a North Texas Ultra 100K Finisher belt buckle. The first-place male and first-place female of each distance will get an award. The last person to finish each distance will get a DFL award... "dead freakin last."
