The Course

Take on the Ray Miller Trail switchbacks - a beautiful 3-mile gradual ascent with amazing views straight down to the beach and across the Pacific Ocean. Fly down the Overlook Fire Road as the views turn towards the epic Boney Mountain. The 10k turns around and climbs back to the top of Ray Miller Trail for one of the best descents in the Santa Monica Mountains. The 17k continues downhill and a new singletrack flows down to the Sycamore Canyon Fire Road where the race's only flat sections allows your legs to stride it out. The Fireline singletrack then shoots directly up with a leg-burning push, you'll get deep views of the steep canyon walls. With the hardest part behind you, the course returns to the top of Ray Miller and lets gravity take over for the finish line descent!

Aid Stations are located at approximately Miles 2.7, 3.4, and 7.1 and 7.9 for the 17k.
10k Aid Stations are at approximately miles 2.7, 3.4, and 4.1
Aid Stations will be serving fresh Skratch Hydration and water. Pre-filled cups are available as well as water bottle refills.

The 17k Cut-off at the 10k Turnaround (mile 3.4) is 9:45am
